Our beloved teacher, Mr Azam…who was the first one to bring us out of Singapore for a short trip to Johor Baharu, JB. We went there not just to have fun but also for us to do a project latter on about the trip
So.. Let the journey
begin!!!
First, let me introduce our teachers in-charge...
| Mr. Azam (Leader) |
| Mr. Ezran (left) and Mr. Fathul (right) |
Boarded the buses that brought us to JB.
While waiting for the bus to move, we chatted away.
There were two buses. The girls were in a different bus except for four girls. The four girls were in the boys’ bus as there was not enough room for them in the girls’ bus.

We entered Malaysia via 2nd link, Tuas.

We arrived at the Singapore Immigration for our passport to be stamped.

Leave Singapore
After we had cleared the Malaysia Immigration, there were 2 buses awaiting us. These were the buses that brought us around during this trip.
We headed to our first stop which was the ‘RR Gelang Patah’.
We had our breakfast there. We were only given half an hour to eat and to wait for the girls to arrive at our first stop. Unfortunately, their bus were stranded in the jam at both checkpoints.

9.40a.m
Headed to Desaru..
In the bus, the tour guide told us not to paste or throw chewing gum anywhere we like.
9.50a.m
Our tour guide started to tell us the history of Johor.
She was not 'colourful' with the way she presented the history. Some of us actually slept in the bus during the 2-hr journey to Desaru.
11.15a.m
At the fruit farm, a Mdm Hayati, guided us and briefly introduced us to the fruits in the farm.
After the fruit farm, we went to the mini zoo..
(Here are the animals found at the Mini Zoo)
(My partner tried to fit the wild Ostrich)(One of the staffs)
I was scared initially til Mr Azam hugged me from behind. I guessed he was scared too. He then lifted up his hand so that the ostrich thought that we were taller then the ostrish and would not peck our heads.
After that, we attended a short talk about honey..
And had a chance to taste it..
When the talk was over, we went for our lunch.. It was a buffet lunch so we all digged-in.
As we can see.. Tch Azam was enjoying his meals..
There were varities of foods such as 'sotong' , 'Barberqued Fish' ,fruits and many more.. As for the drinks.. we had lime juice.. It was extremly sour!! You guys should see everyone's faces after having a taste of it.. hahaha.. xD
(Enjoying the delicious foods on the table,YUMMY!!!)
(STILL NOT ENOUGH FOR THEM)
2.30p.m
We boarded the bus after enjoying our self at the farm.
As a Muslim, praying 5 times a day is obligatory. So , we had to go to a nearby mosque…
2.35p.m
Started heading to the nearby mosque.
3.00p.m
At last , we arrived . You know what? We performed our Zuhur prayer in that mosque called Masjid Kampung Seluyut.
The place was damn quite , just us , the secondary 3 students and the teachers.
That time , it was raining heavily like cats and dogs. Luckily, we got UMBRELLAS!!!
3.30p.m
We move out from the mosque or should I say the HAUNTED MOSQUE ~
3.45p.m
The museum was just near the mosque .So , there was no doubt that we should be arriving in just 15 minutes . As a student , I thought that museums are so boring and nothing interesting in it.
Guess what? The museum was huge and beautiful. when we arrived at the entrance, we took pictures of it..The museum is called Museum Kota Tinggi.
Actually, we were prohibited from taking pictures of the artifacts but after our tour guide talked to the manager, we were allowed. She's our hero!
The museum was above my expectation and it was tremendously good. many of historic things..
So here are the pictures :
4.25p.m
After spending our times at the museum , we were really thrilled by the histories of the Kota Tinggi.
We went to Mini Kelantan
4.45p.m
Arrived at the mini Kelantan.
Before we stepped out from the bus, we were given just 45 minutes to go shopping which was from 4.45p.m to 5.30p.m.
HERE I COME YOU MINI KELANTAN!!!:D
at the mall , my partner and I went to have a look at the things that were on sale..;)
The things were very cheap compare to Singapore. I ate ice-cram..Oh man, it was so icy-cold… We bought many things including shirts and food. As the time almost struck 5.30p.m,we went back to the meeting point. I met teacher Azam, he told me that he bought a pair of shoes. It was really a nice pair of shoes..Oh god , he made me jealous…I saw teacher Fathul and teacher Ezran buying Rubik's cubes…^^
6.00p.m
The bus picked us up and went to a place to buy some ‘Keropok Lekor’.
6.15p.m
After testing that delicious hot keropok leko , we had to go back home. Scared that it was going to be jammed at the customs.
Along the way, we were entertained by some FUNNY jokes!
Here are some of the jokes :
*Sorry guys. I had problems uploading tch Azam's joke. I'll get it done A.S.A.P
Tch Azam's joke was the funniest of all!!
W stopped over at the 'RR Gelang Patah' to perform our maghrib prayers and eat our dinner. There were two buses. Therefore, one bus would be going to the Jurong East mrt station and the other back to school. So we were asked to board the bus that were heading to our destination.
We were dismissed at Jurong East mrt station as we leave in the north of Singapore.
We really enjoyed ourselves.
Thanks to you Mr Azam, our English Teachedr, for this enjoyable and memorable trip!
We love you! <3
